The SIMTR Conference Centre was conceived and built by the Solihull Independent Hospital Charity in February 1995 for the benefit of the community. The charity funds are used to improve the quality of life for those less fortunate, to support beneficial projects within the local community, and to promote and encourage medical research.
Suitable for both medical and non-medical conferences, the Centre has two superbly equipped suites designed for the conference of the 21st Century.
The Lecture Theatre can accommodate up to 60 persons, has hi-tec audio visual equipment, air-conditioning, and is appointed to the highest possible degree of comfort. Those delegates attending medical conferences can also benefit from a live theatre link up from the adjacent hospital.
The Stockdale Suite provides privacy for those confidential business seminars and is also ideal for training and interviewing. The Suite consists of the Morrell Library which can accommodate up to 20 delegates theatre style or 16 delegates boardroom style, and the Seminar Room which can accommodate board room style meetings up to 8 delegates. Both rooms have natural daylight, air conditioning and are self contained with their own private facilities and adjacent reception area. The Centre has it's own Business Office where our staff will be pleased to support you throughout your important day. The Centre offers a non-smoking environment, with ample car parking and special facilities for people with disabilities.
